No, MemiFriends is not at all addictive. The way we have developed and structured the game drives positive motivation and does not let a child play for long.
We have worked for over a year with industry experts that include child therapists, educators, psychology professors, industry leaders, gaming experts to develop the platform. Each part of the game and skill has scientific research behind it.
Our Season 1 addresses skills for children between ages 6-12. Kids of ages 13-14 also find our games enjoyable. We are working hard to develop games for children above 13 years of age. Look out for our future seasons.
We focus on skills for the future, with focus on mental health and brain training. We do not intend to replace schools’ traditional curriculum, and are rather complementary to it. Our uniqueness is in the fact that we have taken the hard problem of mental health development and concretely solved it with a gaming tool.
Yes, Memifriends was built with a design that is safe for children. We care about privacy and security. We do not encourage features that might put the child’s safety at risk.
